We have a passion for these dogs and would love to share it with you.
A little about us: we are small home breeders located in Portland, Oregon and Vista, California. We do this only for our love of DOBIES. Our customers range from young adults wanting a companion to protect them to those wanting a jogging partner to those interested in agility training. Others include those of all ages wanting home or self protection, families with young children in the yard, elderly parent(s) inside or outside, single females living alone or those that have traveling spouses. These dogs are loved for their athleticism, drive and companionship.

Kathie and Bill
Dobermans are exceptionally intelligent dogs and remain truly loyal to their handler or family. Ours all come from exceptional pedigrees that can be viewed upon request. They will stick by their owners 100% if properly handled and cared for. A veterinarian examines the puppies at birth and again at eight weeks of age. A microchip is placed for permanent identification. At four days, the pups' tails are docked and their dewclaws removed.

Clay and Deleena
Ears are done by request only; you have a window of time from 6wk – 12 wk to have them cropped. The puppies will be ready for their new homes, and will have had their first set of shots, wormings, AKC registration papers, and micro-chipping. Our puppies come with a health guarantee in exchange for a loving permanent home. Until they find their permanent homes, they are raised in their birth home and are with other dogs & cats. They will have been handled and played with since birth. Our puppies are healthy and full of vitality and energy.
ABSOLUTELY NO PUPPY MILLS: If you are a smaller home breeder, then that's most likely just fine. We are VERY leery of puppy mills - as everyone should be! Our prices vary depending on the evaluation of each puppy. Pat Hastings, an internationally known judge, will evaluate each puppy at 8 weeks. She has been involved in the canine world since 1959. She began her career as an owner-handler, moved into breeding, then teamed up with her husband in professional handling and judging. These evaluations help with the placement of each dog according to his/her characteristics, disposition and physical abilities. Prices may be negotiable depending on ears, microchipping, and other factors.
Please keep this in mind: Dobermans are inside dogs with minimal shedding and grooming upkeep requirements. They are great around children as long as they are raised and socialized with them. They are in the working dog group and are bred to protect and work. You won't be disappointed by our dogs and what they can do for the right people. We can hold them for a short time for a fee if needed or deliver them within 100 miles. For more information please call us at (503) 278-1341.
